Celebrity Cakes Covid-19 and Social Distancing Update.

As a food producer, who is home based and has been inspected and is operating under strict food handling laws, as of today 24th March 2020. I’ve been speaking with the head of Environmental Health for my local authority who have given my business the status of operational.
These following restrictions are in place. 1. I must have enough disinfectant and hand washing to operate - I do, EHO checked my stock 2. All food must be covered. 3. All payments should be handled digitally. I have an online shop and can email invoices and accept payments via PayPal, Debit and Credit Cards securely. 4. No one can come inside my home or studio so:- 5. Collections will be by appointment only and to a doorstep hygienic collection point. 6. Customers must follow social distancing and not congregate. 7. I can send items by post.
This is a very difficult time for us all, please support my small and exclusive business wherever you can. I am able to send small hand made gourmet confections by post to loved ones in isolation and provide small cakes at lower costs for your home based celebrations. This is especially important for your little darlings at a time when the shops are stripped bare and you perhaps don't want to venture out. Your understanding and support will help me to continue making and spreading happiness, one cake (cupcake, cake pop and biscuit) at a time.
